What is the name of the green Teletubbie?
Today I had to work on my supposed day off because earlier this week Phil quit/was fired/walked out so now there's only three of us to close...me and the two new guys. Great. Today was so stressful because I felt like I was baby-sitting the new guy (even though he's quite older than me) because he kept making little mistakes. No biggie, he'll catch on. But we were so busy, and all our shit wasn't getting done. We didn't get out until 9:15.
During my break (and I got a free meal because I came in on my day off, so that was one good thing), I saw a green Teletubbie doll at Central Pay where Kevin was working and I asked him whose it was. He said somebody must have dropped it because he found it in front of Chinese. We were both wondering the name of the green one and Kevin goes, "Is it Dipstick?" which just made me burst out laughing. I mean, Dipstick? LMAO. He knew the names of the other Teletubbies: Po, Lala, and Winky Tinky or Tiddly Piddly or whatever the gay purple one is called.
Since it was Kevin's last night before he heads to camp for a month he invited me to join him and Katie and Kaylie at Buffalo Wild Wings and while we were sitting in a booth I pointed out that all their names begin with the letter K and I'm the one who's left out and I go, "K...K..." then I realize what I'm doing and everyone is laughing and it's all very scandalous! We had a nice waitress. She was very chatty and filled us in on her problems at home. Her name was Blair. We left Blair a seven dollar tip. I had the buffalo wings with ranch dressing and blue cheese and celery. Kaylie only had a drink because she's "dirt poor" as she put it and Kevin and Katie had chicken strips which I pointed out they could get at HV, but they said these were way better. It was a fun time. Just what I needed after a stressful day at work.
