Need to start painting picture
I have just started this journal. I am cooking and reading and thinking about a painting that I would like to start. I have painted only Yukon scenery in the past few years and think that I would like to start a painting of Northwest British Columbia. I spend some time there this summer and would like to capture some of what I saw there.
I am having difficulty starting. I have a nice 20" x 24" masonite panel all primed and ready and just need to slap some paint on it to get started. If anyone is reads this perhaps they could come back with a suggestion of how to sync oneself to "get to it". I would also appreciate any suggestions about sticking to the task once the first paint is slapped on.
