I am still getting started with my painting. Yesterday I sorted thourgh some of the pics that I took on the British Columbia coast last summer and something started to take shape in my mind as a possibility. In the meantime I am getting painting surfaces all primed and ready to accept the paint ( Read more... )

You should--sometime in the near future--post some of your artwork. I'd be really interested in seeing it :)

I have some pics of my paintings scanned into my computer and would like to try to post a couple. I am pleased that you are interested. Could you give me a couple of pointers about how to post pics. I have looked at the instructions but I find them rather vague. Thanks a bunch.

Sorry this took so long, my dad kicked me off while I was in the middle of typing it.

Anyway, uploading pictures...a bit hard to explain. I'll go in steps:

1.) Go to an image-hosting site. I recommend Image Shack
2.) Click "Browse" and search for the picture you want to upload, then click the button that says "Host It!".
3.) There should be 5 boxes with different codes inside them--go to the last one
4.) Copy it
5.) Put it inside this code here: < img src="INSERT LINK HERE"/ > (Without the spaces between the brackets only)
6.) Then post it on your journal ;)

Thank you very much for the reply. I appreciate the help and may have to get back to you for more instructions as I am Mrs. Computer Barely Literate. From here I will go and dive into Image Shack and see what I find there.
