one week later...
Well, I've been at the new job for a week. I'm still supporting my old job 50% of the time, and working the new program 50% as well. I will say its a good thing I'm still working on the old program, because man... things sure are slow here! I guess I should enjoy the lull, but I'm used to coming in with a good 10-15 emails (not spam, but real need-to-be-answered emails) first thing in the morning, and having a constant flow of them until 6pm or so. I stay here close to 6 as it is, since traffic is bad, but still... I guess I just wish I were more busy, so it would make the day go by faster. I'm sure, though, in 2 months' time I'll be cursing about how much work I have to do, so I really should just enjoy the peace and quiet. ;) I kind of still wish I was driving cross-country, though!
