funny how lame you get when your upset and thoroughly tipsy.
anywho. ive decided to do a personal blog-like revolution.
1 - not many people read this. barely any of my friends have livejournal. and randoms dont care. fair enough, i cant be bothered to read about their identity crisises either.
2 - we need more people making boring stuff interesting. its a great skill to have. i want to develop it. my life is pretty ordinary.
3 - i have to get writing generally. my english tutor is all 'baaaaaaaaaahh!!!! WRITE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN ALL THE TIME EVERY DAY OTHERWISE YOU'LL NEVER GET BETTER AT ANYTHING EVER AND THE WHOLE WORLD WILL EXPLODE!!! THEN IMPLODE ONLY TO EXPLODE AGAIN!!!' ie. shall be posting writing excersised from my textbook.
a - because hopefully if im writing for an audeince (even a small one) i shall put slightly more effort into it than if i was writing it for myself. ie i want to woaw the world with my linguistic flare (or rather... soon to be linguistic flare. im working on it guys)
b - you never know, something deeply moving could sprout out. currently working on an essay 'ethical obligations of historical novelists'. or something of the sort. hasnt exactly been defined yet. the more i thought about it the more interesting it became.
4 - i want a collection of passages or phrases that i like. it very often happens when i am reading (which im doing more and more everyday. snaps for fernanda!) i come accross a beautifully composed sentance which speaks of sorrows or joys so magestically. and i wish to remember it. to write it somewhere. i never do. so now i will.
also, if anyones read any good books recently, recommend them to me!!! now biatch. just know beforehand that im almost as critical with books as i am with movies. ie. i think a lot os stuff is shite. but ill read it anyway.
