First Entry!
Well here I am, making my on LJ account instead of studing for my exams, it's amazing the creativity you can find with yourself when your procastinating, lol. Anyhow, I've spent the entire fortnight watching every interview of the rolling stones posted on youtube, god those guys are fricken awesome, still are. I've listened to them my entire life, thanks to my dad's influence but it wasn't until a few weeks ago when I really had to study and thought to my self, hey why don't i research the stones instead that I discovered just how amazing they are. Mick would have to be my fav, he is so so so so so, (etc.) HOT, I can't beleive it! Keith is awesome to, I just finished reading Ronnie's autobiography and I have to say he is also awesome (i seem to using the word awesome an awful lot). They are all so great.
However, I am getting a bit pissed off by the comments on youtube. I dont mind people having their own opinion, it''s a free world, but if you don't like the Stones, why in the world would you watch stones' interviews and preformances on youtube, it really confuses me. If I don;t like something the last thing I would do with my time is go and search for it on the internet and watch it, isn't that just a waste of their time, but I digress maybe they secretly love the stone's but are so jealous they need to put awful comments down. The other thing is why, when they do that, commenting "the Stones suck and the Beatles rule" or something similar, do they not expect people to comment angryly back, if you don't want that to happen to you post it on a Beatles video and you;ll get tonnes of people agreeing with you.
Not that I don;t love the Beatles to, they are awesome too (I really need a new word), my fathers influence again ofcoarse. But I almost think they are too different to compare. And what is the point of trying to claim one is better then th other they both gave so much to the world of music and they definately both deserve our admiration for that.
Also is it just me or do other people do this every time I watch a stones concert or video, my inner vioce alternates between screaming, "Take off your clothes Mick" and "Come on Mick and Keith just kiss". It's actually quite worrying how quickly and deeply I have become obessed with the stones, oh well if i gets me though the exams without goin mad (or madder as the case may be) then not problem, hey.
