prom was actually quite fun. I'm glad I went. yes, it was a bit awkward, but not as much due to the saga as due to some of the dancing. but I felt pretty, and took lots of pictures, and huzzah. life isn't so bad, I guess. and burnt chocolate chip pancakes aren't that bad either...
