Camp ended for me on Friday. As much as I couldn't stand those little brats sometimes, I'm gonna miss them over the course of the school year. I posted plenty of pictures on the facebook, so check them out if you're bored, or if you want to see some adorable pictures.
I'm moving into Merrow tomorrow. I'm supposed to be moving into Tucker, but the renovations won't be done until the 25th. We're getting new rugs, tiles, windows, paint, furniture... the whole works. So, I can't complain. It's gonna be beautiful! But in the mean time, I'll have to live in a mostly empty dorm room, with NO lappy. Mr. Lappy decided to die on me AGAIN. So, off to the Apple Hospital it goes. When will Mr. Lappy be happy with life? SERIOUSLY?!
On a even sadder note... my fish, Gershwin, of 1.5ish years died yesterday. He was a good fish. Giant in size and heart. He loved oversized portions of food and fights with the neighboring fish bowls. I believe he died from old age, but it also could have been constipation. So yesterday afternoon, I welcomed a new fish into my family. Sir Isaac Newton, or Newton for short. Steve helped me pick him out and get him settled into his new home.
Honestly, I can't wait to move back in and get the ball rolling at URI once again. I'm excited to see all my friends and awesome co-workers. It'll suck being away from Steve, but we'll definitely make do.
Training better be fun. Hopefully the Scaredy Cat Squad can reunite in fear brought on by the creepy dorms. I love the dorms when they're mostly empty. Totally scary, but awesome for bonding with RA buddies.
One thing I'm not looking forward to - 3 math classes and 2 education classes. In one semester. You can do it! You can do it! Just keep swimming :)
