Camp is going so well. Some of the kids are a handful, but everyday, one of them says something hilarious or insanely cute, so it makes all the hard times worth it. I don't enjoy getting up at 6am every morning to ride and monitor a school bus for 2 hours, but someone's gotta do it. Better than afternoon bus duty, that's for sure.

I went in the water with the kids for free swim today, and they wouldn't get off of me! "Miss Stephanie, can you carry me to the dock? Miss Stephanie, can I have a piggy back ride? Miss Stephanie, I'm drowning without you next to me!" It's so cute though.

One of my kids, who looks like a miniature version of Eminem, says the FUNNIEST things. Today he was telling me about his girlfriend, Brooklyn. When I asked him what she looked like, he did one of those cat call whistles and said, "she looks sexy." haha. Then he told me that he hasn't kissed her yet, but he wants to. He hasn't seen her all summer though, because he was afraid to ask her where she lives. HAHAHA. So cute. Mind you, he's 8 years old and will be entering 3rd grade in the fall. Last week, he told me I was his favorite counselor EVER because I burped really well. He got to climb the rockwall today, but unfortunately didn't make it very far. He'd get about halfway up, then freak himself out, jump down, cry, and tell me how scared of heights he is. Then, he'd go up again, and freak out the same way. I'm trying not to play favorites here, but he's the cutest one (and the runt of the bunch)!! How can I not?

I just can't believe how tired I am by the end of the day. I get a 45 minute break, and today I used it as nap time in my car. It seems like this might be the beginning of a beautiful trend.

Although the kids are great, I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I have two Fourth of July parties to attend (one with family, the other with Steve's friends) AND I finally get to see Steve's house. It's going to be great and hopefully relaxing. Oh, and Wednesday night, Steve's taking me to Twin Oaks! Woot! I have something to dress up nice for, which is certaily a nice change from YMCA shirts and mesh shorts.

Wow, it's bed time. I don't think Stephanies were made to wake up and function properly at 6am.
