Comicon Update!
Just got back from Comicon, which was super-awesome! Saturday was spent looking at cool stuff, and Sunday was spent buying lots of comics and tracking down David Petersen to get him to sign my Mouse Guard. Also, got a sweet limited edition Gravel omnibus signed by Warren Ellis! Plus, a free green plastic Green Lantern ring from the DC booth, which I will now be using as my wedding ring!
Joel bought about $500 worth in toys that he is planning to sell on the e-bay. Apparently he was "chucked" through this endeavor. ??

"jungle lady" whose costume was okay, dragging her 7 or 9 yr old daughter dressed in the SAME outfit and looking VERY uncomfortable

Joel pointed out a guy with a spiked codpiece
bunch of slightly buff 300 guys
guy with Superman shirt, Superman pajama bottoms, and what appeared to be a plastic cape
guy who went as a Myspace page (most interesting costume, although very unwieldy)
