crossovers are the best
Filled out a prompt over at sherlockkink that was just screaming for me. Pokemon/Sherlock Holmes crossover. Yes, it is as great as it sounds.
Also I am totally high on Sherlock Holmes right now, so don't expect to see anything that does not somehow incorporate the series one way or another from me for a while.
I spent a good hour trying to think of a fitting team for both Holmes and Watson, so I feel the need to describe in detail why I chose them. :U
Ditto - the guy loves disguises, so really, ditto is perfect for him in that aspect.
Gengar - I feel that Gengar would be incredibly useful to Holmes in whatever sort of investigating he may attempt. And, well, after all the fic I've read, I can't help but think that Gengar's mischievous nature would just suit Holmes quite nicely...
Mew - the guy's a man of mystery, so why not have an equally enigmatic Pokemon as one of his partners? Also, psychic tyyyyype
Also, he only has 3 Pokemon since it means DOUBLE BATTLES WITH WATSON 8DDD *total geek*
Arcanine - Growlithe's are typical cop companions, and while Watson isn't a cop, he's definitely dealing out justice, so he gets Arcanine~
Ampharos - I just remembered that Ampharos was used as a guiding light for a lighthouse, so I thought it'd be cute for Ampharos to guide Sherlock and Watson through any adventures late at night or in some sort of dark cavernous place.
Togekiss - Since Watson is a total BAMF yet a nice looking guy, I gave him Togekiss. These guys are hella strong and can know a ton of killer attacks! :3 Also they're super cute and cuddly looking~
