I inherited my father's gift, mostly from hanging with him at the hospital, of arather morbid sense of humour, and what I am told is a disturbingattitude about death.
Having fairly warned you, I wonder:
Hypothetically; imagine if people knew the exact day they would die inadvance, not how, or when to the minute, or why, do you suppose wewould celebrate the anniversary of these death days as well asbirthdays?
This assumes, of course, that for whatever reason people did not spendevery moment they had fervently plotting to change that date, butsimply lived with it.
I think it would be somewhat amusing to have a deathday celebration, and to get presents on it every year.
That's probably not a good sign.
Still nothing good on the job front alas, I recently hd aninterview where the interviewer had a stack of maybe ten other reusmes for the position on his desk, so I'm afraid that I may be facing a rather nasty market.
