anger beyond words...
So I had that big important liscensure test today right? not a requirment to be an engineer but part of the rtequirement to be a professional engineer. And I was all set to take it when they told me myten year old calculator that was THE SAME MODEL as the one permitted on the list was not acceptable cause it DIDN"T MATCH THE PICTURE THEY HAD!
They said I could tkae the test without a calculator or not take the test. So I went home, and checked their website, and saw now pictures. turns out the pictures they use are only on THE OHIO SITE! So now I'm going to pitch a bitch this monday and at least try to get my fucking money back, cause none of the materials sent to me said "refer to X pictures of acceptable calculators, if they dont look the same they're not allowed." not sure that I'll get anywhere, but what the hell, I need to take this out on somebody.
Just a note, I loooked up my calculator and the ones approved, and they have exactly the same abilities. The newer ones are just thinner and look nicer.
