I don't understand why there aren't any more commentaries. I don't know many of the songs, but those I know, I think the fit Mal really well.
Now, I hope you don't mind if I correct the translation you made of the song (Spanish is my first language), you translated the first 2 lines correctly, so I'm only adding the translation of the last 2:

Las mujeres no me faltan, = I never lack women (or something like that, it means that there are always women for him)
Ni el dinero, ni el amor = nor money, nor love

Do you think you can upload the mix again? I'd love to listen to it.

I later discovered the incorrect aspects of the translation I'd made, but I never went back and corrected my commentary. Mostly because I'm lazy.

And now something completely random: I think the reason Mal and Inara are an impossible couple isn't because they have different ideas or because they spend all the time fighting, I think it's just because they're not the kind of people who were made to be happy. They wouldn't know what to do with happiness, they need to feel miserable to be comfortable... But I ship them anyway.
