Tonsilitis really sucks
Well.. I did end up catching tonsilitis from my little sister. And I've been suffering with it for the last three days! This morning was the worst. I think I managed about 5 hours sleep last night, so I was sleep deprived as well as being so sick I was almost delirious. I think dehydrations may have had something to do with coherency problems... I've had a fever on and off for the last three days and its the worst at night. I wake up at all hours finding my pyjamas all damp. Blech, so icky!
I think my antibiotics finally kicked in today though. I can finally swallow without having to prepare myself for the 'knife in my throat' pain anymore, which is always a good thing :)
I've been sketching a little more again too. I've started my sketch of Nikki Reed... it's not turning out as well as I'd hoped. It's still better than my previous attempts at drawing people before I drew Ashley :) So I can't complain too much. Will definately be posting the finished product at sortof_awesome later for everyone's enjoyment :)
The deb ball is only four days away now... so excited. Found out on Sunday that the Chief Commissioner of St John Ambulance is coming to the celebrations!!! *gapes* I didn't realise we'd be having St John national staff there! Talk about a way to make it a very nervous night for everyone. Oh well. It will still be good to catch up with the people I haven't seen since I was 17!
I managed to drag myself out this morning with the boys. Took them to a kids cafe in town and let them get rid of some energy for the afternoon nap. After that I went to the local bookshop and finally bought me a copy of Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I loved The Da Vinci Code, and Angels and Demons is being turned into a movie too, so I thought I'd get it to read. Especially since I haven't read any new books since Jan! I've just been re-reading the ones I already have in my bookshelves. Will be good to read something I haven't read a hundred times already :)
Very much looking forward to my day off tomorrow... will be using it to try and catch up on some of my homework that I didn't get done over the weekend simply because I didn't have the mental capacity to even think about it! May go and see Grandma for some help on the bookeeping subject I'm doing as well.
