ah...the lovliness of kidlets spending the night!
My day at work was productive, but it was ALL Dr. Travelinpants...gah...letters upon letters to get caught up...but now I'm only 3 days behind on 2 physicians...totally under control and able to be *caught up* within a reaonable amount of time.
Picked up Kelsie, met Courney's mom and took the girls to Taco Bell for dinner and talked about "what are we going to do tomorrow?" We talked about going to the movies, but in the back of my mind I'm hearing dollars emptying my wallet FAST! We ended up going to the video store and choosing some videos to watch tomorrow since Ed's going to be gone most of the day...so it'll be DVD's on the BIG SCREEN tee vee.
I figure Courtney can stick around as long as they want and keep Kelsie company and she's really a delightful young gal. Like two peas in a pod.
Dropped them off at church and they went on they merry way while I came home and watched Grey's Anatomy since I missed it last night. Watched part of the MISS USA and listened to Ed bitch and moan about some crap about work...and then it was time to go back and pick the kids up.
Now, after watching them play our Mario/Nintendo games, they're lying on the floor watching Fresh Prince of Belair . They gave Ed their donut orders and I'm wondering about lunch for tomorrow. Courtney is allergic to peanuts to PB&J's are out. I'm sure I'll figure something out. I'm NOT that inadequate as a *tweener* caretaker ;)
So, now it's off to wash my face, take my OLD contacts out...dang it, when are the new ones coming in...and then I'm going to hop into my bed with my new book before I fall asleep.
On a scale from 1-10...today was an 8+! I had a wonderful txt message from aucontraire. Txt messages ALWAYS make me smile, but always leaves me feeling envious because I can't *check-in* on LJ while at work! I have to wait until I get home to get all the day's goings on.
Excitement in St. Peters, eh???? I lead a very sedate, quiet, uncomplicated life.
Aw.....the felines are trying to make friends with the girls. I wonder if Felix will be sleeping with them. Too cute! (where is my camera when I need it)???
