Never mind the hypocrisy in supporting abstinence only education and ending up with an unwed teen pregnancy in the family. The real problem issue for me is that Sarah Palin supports equal time for Creationism and Evolution in schools. Fairy tales getting equal time with facts in a science class. Fail. And McCain fails for picking her. What a joke. I'm not even a big Obama fan, but once again the Republicans are asking me to vote for someone who honestly believes in fairy tales, and frankly, I'm getting really fucking tired of it. Fairy tales are not going to reduce the $10 trillion national debt. Nor will fairy tales get us out of Iraq and prevent us from going into Iran. I'm fairly certain fairy tales aren't going to end our dependence on oil either. Or convince Americans to use less credit and save more. Fairy tales certainly aren't going to stop teens from having sex, as Gov. Palin has found out. And I have a serious problem with someone who believes in fairy tales being given a position of any authority, let alone Vice President of these United States. Especially when the president she would be serving under is 72, has had the deadliest form of skin cancer 4 times, and spent significant years of his life under huge amounts of physical and psychological stress, which statistically tends to decrease lifespan.

And lets not even get into her total lack of any relevant experience for the job. Republicans can tout her "executive experience" all they want, but the reality is Alaska has 700000 people in it, total. There are more people on the terrorist watch list than she has been an executive over. And before she was governor, she was mayor of a town with 3500 people in it when she was first elected. My high school had about that many students. And, frankly, given the rough elements that attended there, I have far more confidence in my former principal than I do in Sarah Palin.
