A desire to leave something behind after my corpse is dust, I've decided the only way to even taste a glimpse of immortality is to write a book, and then bury several of those books around the world in sealed metal containers that can withstand just about anything short of the annihilation of earth, so essentially what inspires me to create is a selfish desire to never stop existing.
