California, the Whole Big State... :-p
So yea, I landed in Cali yesterday and so far I think that it's a kinda sorta cool place. When I was flying into the state and everything there were a couple sights that were like really disgusting and I still have yet to find out what they are, and there there were the ones that were completely awesome like the Rockys :) I also saw a couple lakes and everything that looked frigin' huge, but I still don't know what I want to do when ALex gets here and everything. He told me to go map quest a couple things and find out what's around here. Pretty much the only thing that I want to do at the moment is get a tattoo and go to one of the big cities and just cruise around.
His family is also frigin' cool. When I got into the little rinky dinky airport (it was mainly an airport where there were scenic airplanes, a helicopter, and a couple small two engine planes) I got a big hug from his mom and met his "little" brother and sister. Cha, the airplane I came in was so small, it only seated like 30 people and had a crew of 3 :-p I also met Alex's favorite aunt, his little nephew, his grandmother, and three of his aunt's kids. Oh yea, and his dad too :-p When I was shaking his hand he jerked me over into a hug, which was really cool.
The house here is really great, Alex has his own room outside, but it's only like three steps away from the back door. I got locked out the first time I came out here because it's a habit to lock the door and everything. The living room looks so awesome and all the chairs look superbly comfortable. They have a gas stove which is so awesome, I hate electric stoves with a passion because once the power goes out they can't be used and they take forever to heat things up. The living room has a huge TV, it has to be at least 60 inches and the people's heads on the movies are bigger than my body :-p
Everyone here is waiting for Alex to come over tomorrow, he starts his leave today so he doesn't have to go back to his stupid ship for a little bit. He's been having some drama with a few people there and everything. People in the Navy that think they have rank and really don't are real douches. I'm somewhat tired right now, but I got a whole bunch of sleep, all the jet lag should be gone by tomorrow so that'll be really cool. I also think I got paid today which is really awesome. So yea, thus far Cali is pretty cool.
