My little baby boy came into this world. And let me tell you, I just knew he was going to be a mover. He was doing somersaults until the minute he was born. He was a scheduled csection so I had to get to hospital pretty early in the morn. They couldnt keep the monitor on his heartbeat b/c he literally went from head down, to head to my left ribcage, headup, head to right rib cage, and back down again. hahah
He was quite a large baby, weighing 9lbs 2oz and 22" long, and I'm only 5'2"
Had the epidural to get ready for surgery, and the nurses were in the room with me. They kept saying, if you feel funny or anything is wrong, just let us know. I was propped up in the hospital bed, and felt fine, but I was getting soooo sleepy. I kept thinking to myself, damn I don't want to fall asleep for this. I want to see my baby born. They kept talking but I just couldn't talk to them. It was like I was mute, my lips were glued shut. Then I couldn't hear them and fell asleep.
A few seconds later, I'm waking up on my left side and wondering what the hell happened. Jake was over to the side looking like a deer caught in the headlights.
What's wrong I asked. Oh you passed out. Your little boy put too much pressure on you and cut off your circulation
hahah Poor Jake, you can only imagine his face.
It seems like it has gone by so fast. I hate feeling like I have forgotten some memories. He still sleeps with his Bob the Builder blanket, faithfully carrying it around. He's had it since he was probably about a year old or so... maybe earlier heh
"Bah Bah doo doo" he used to call it LOL
My sweet boy. He's our artist. Our middle child, and our only boy. The one who LOVES to aggravate his sisters heheh
He's learned the art of sarcasm. And I'm not sure where he gets that from heheh
and now lol don't let the sweet face fool ya, he can be a toot!
