The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
The Good:
Gen con is paid for and we have a room.
Started running a Silver Age Sentinels game for Kaudrim, Wiccan_dragon, Jacrabbit and Pacrat. the boys have gotten so inta it that they now have a dice collection almost rivaling mine or Kaudrims.
I now have nearly every book they made for the Silver Age Sentinels before the company went out of business in 2004.
Pacrat was accepted inta Cardinal Ritter Jr. High.
The Bad:
I'm temporarily with out a vehicle again. my transmission started to go out in the truck and hopefully we caught it before it did too much damage.
Even though I paid off my overdue/disconnection fees last Thursday/Friday & the company (I've called their 800 # twice now) says I can get a new phone & contract the local kiosk at work is still telling me they can't give me a contract.
Last week and this week they're cutting hours at work.
And The Ugly:
Well Wednesday after he was picked up from school Pacrat started complaining of feeling sick so he ended up staying home from school Thursday and I went ta work. As I was getting off work I got a text from Wiccan_dragon saying that she was taking him inta prompt care cause his stomach was getting worse & Kaudrim was picking me up. Well once we got to be seen it the Docs agreed with us that it was sounding like appendicitis. So we (Kaudrim, Wiccan_dragon,& I) ended up staying with him in his hospital room (only 1 guest bed and two chairs) Thursady night/Friday morning. he went in for surgery Friday at 7 am and we ended up staying again Friday night and he came home this morning.
