(New York) SC Newswire:
Ben Stein, a Jewish attorney, game-show host, marginal professor and comedian, is in the process of releasing a film based on why lawyers are more qualified than scientists concerning matters of how the natural world operates and why the concept of Intelligent Design helped him win an Emmy. The documentary film, due for a February 2008 release, is entitled
Expelled and will feature arguments based on reasons the universe appears to be designed (especially when witnessed via Stein’s oceanfront view at his home in Malibu).
During the film Stein argues that
Eugenie Scott and
PZ Myers are “mean spirited” and explains why attorneys at the
Discovery Institute should be concerned that the future of science education is relying too heavily on peer-reviewed journals, mountains of evidence, advances in understanding biological development, and physics.
“I want people to know that
Casey Luskin is a great tutor if you are preparing for the bar exam,” said Stein. “Luskin can win my money any day of the week, but I wouldn’t share a red cent with those Darwinian bullies. Freedom of speech grants us the right to be dangerous, hip rebels for a cool cause.” Stein promptly shuffled off in his boxing shorts, candy-striped tie, Keds shoes and tortise-rimmed glasses endorsed by
William Dembski.
Stein, a fiscal conservative and White House speechwriter, believes that only God could have made him score so high on the SAT’s. In addition, Stein claims that he often reads civil procedural law before making up his mind about matters of the cosmos and enjoys role-playing with his wife when visiting Washington, D.C.
“Why is there no intelligence allowed in the universe?” said Stein. “Because Americans are not given the opportunity to see that there is a conspircacy among materialists to reduce the grandiosity of my acting ability in
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. When will it end?”
As a man who was in no mood for compromising his position concerning the importance of such films as Expelled and
Flock of Behe Birds, Stein continued to express his position. “I will be to this generation a new Mohammad and a conservative Michael Moore! You hear me? Life is not simply the result of random mutation; it is the result of libel law and my personal columns in
The American Spectator.”
