Oh gee and Apple fun
Where does time go? Seriously, is there like some vortex that just sucks the time into some unknown place? Is it full of spare lost socks??
This week is the end of trimester three and such end times herald much whining and nashing of teeth from students and colleagues alike as final deadlines hit. I've seem to have adopted the phrase 'its all good' from Seasick Steven which has helped to keen me calm and float above all the chaos. Its a good phrase and seems to stop all whinging in its tracks. Cos basically stuff gets done eventually and folk can only work at a certain speed. So as long as they keep going, it'll get done. Worrying/ panicking / stressing is a waste of energy. So, basically, it's all good.
The other surprising turn for me is that after a buying a Medion Akoya E1210 Netbook from ALDI last Friday, I've managed to install Mac OS X (Leopard 10.5.6) on it. And, after years of being a slave to windows, I'm learning this other operating system and finding it easy, very workable and fun! I did set up the netbook to dual boot. In other words I can choose between windows XP or Mac OS. But i've been so captivated by Mac that i haven't loaded up XP at all. Now that i've bought the Mac OS, its all legit too.
Maybe its the novelty factor kicking in or the shineyness of the interface but i just may be Mac convert.
