Picspam: some stuff I've made recently*
* Where "recently" = within the last six months or so
I've been busy! Until relatively recently I'd forgotten how much I love making stuff; it appears I have rediscovered it with a vengeance. :P
Note: Some of the things I'm posting were originally gifts. If the people whose gifts they were would rather they weren't posted, that's cool, just let me know. :)
OK, so, first, things that are made from epoxy resin!
I don't think I ever posted this here, even though I made it for my Mum's birthday back in December. Huh. It's a necklace.
These are various brooches I made for various people:
These are brooches (I guess?) that I've been making recently. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them. Probably everyone I know will get them for their birthday this year. :D
Secondly, then - felty fangirling!
For minnow_53, I made Sirius and Remus! (Please excuse Remus's having fallen over. Perhaps he'd been drinking... oh, Remus.)
(Minnow, I hope it's OK I shared these with everyone - let me know if you'd rather keep them secret. :P)
For o_deanna, I made Dan and Desmond from Lost (which I don't actually watch, so these were something of a challenge). :P
(Daniel does have hair, but I am an idiot and took the picture against a dark background. o_deanna posted better pics here, for the interested!)
And for... well, for me, I made Merlin and Arthur!
GRATUITOUS SEX SCENE:
(These little fuckers caused me so much trouble. I had to re-knit Arthur's chainmail because the first set was just an enormous grey jumper. Also, his face: the doodle in my notebook was just right, perfectly conveying "Oh, Merlin, you are an idiot but I love you anyway". Transferred to felt, it somehow became "I will kill you and fuck the body". FFS.
You may be interested to know that Merlin is only the second chibi I have made who has ears, and Arthur is the first to have any significant component that isn't made from felt.)
And, finally... here's my disgraceful desk. Yeah, I'll tidy up one day, whatever. :P
