As for recs, bewarethesmirk always has Merlin recs and fortassetu is one of my favourite Merlin authors, although she dabbles in anything that strikes her fancy. bakarini is good, too. OOH, and charlotteschaos has written like 1 or 2 Merlin/Arthur stories.

I highly recommend such_heights's fic, btw (and she also writes Harry Potter and Whoniverse fic, esp. R/S and J/I, so you will love her completely).

Awesome, thanks! I've managed to find a couple of good ones through reclists, but a lot of crap too, so it's good to know there's an author out there who comes with good references, as it were. :P

So far, the best one I found is No Magic Necessary by mskatej which was guuuuhhhh. Maybe I'm just incredibly hormonal at the moment or something but I couldn't move after that one.

I think I might make my tag "LOL Merlin", now I think of it. XD

Coincidentally the first Merlin fanfic I read was No Magic Necesary, which I only read after going through lizardspots masterlist and finding this piece of awsomeness that you may have already seen.
After that, I went on YouTube and watched the whole series in just two days :p
