Preamble: Watchmen is a graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. It is brilliant; if you haven't read it then you totally should. I will keep from saying any more about it because, srsly, you need to read it, but I will say that it is... quite dark. And edgy. :D
Well, what do we do with things that are dark and edgy? That's right, we destroy the creator's vision by making them cute.
Long story short: I made stuffed Watchmen chibi toys from felt.
From left to right: Baby Rorschach, Baby Nite Owl II and Baby Ozymandias!
Baby Doctor Manhattan is half-finished, and then I aim to make Baby Silk Spectre II and Baby Comedian. Then, together, they will eat ice-cream fight crime and injustice!
This kind of thing has been done before but, to my knowledge, never in 3D. So yeah.
