Argh, so knackered.
1. I got my assignment handed in, but it was a struggle and I didn't feel happy with the final draft (but I'd got to that point where I no longer cared if it was good, as long as it was done). It had a 2,500 word limit, which is the biggest non-dissertation and non-fun thing I've had to do, and it was fiddly and annoying.
2. Anyway, just when things were getting calmer, we found a new flat, and we're moving at the start of February. This will mean throwing out a lot of accumulated crap and packing the rest of it into cardboard boxes, which will split along the bottom while being carried, scattering their contents over the streets of Brighton. The contents of the boxes which split will be things like three-foot-long dildos, adult-sized nappies, Torchwood DVDs and other embarrassing things I don't actually own.
3. Speaking of Torchwood,
Spike from Buffy and Jim Robinson from Neighbours are in the new series. Also,
this trailer - which aired back in December or something, but I was too lazy to post it then - is pretty fucking awesome. And of course, Martha - easily the second best thing about the last series of Doctor Who (after "Blink"), is also appearing. So all things considered, I am probably a bit more excited about the new series that I should be, given that Torchwood is really, really crap..
4. Apparently Grindelwald is not only Dumbledore's ex, but also a
ski resort in Switzerland. I know this because today's
Guardian refers to it twice, in unrelated articles. So, I guess... you learn something every day or something. Every day is like being at school.
5. I did a whole load of work on the 'Wank this week, but most of it was on chapter 24. Chapter 23 is nearly done. And as compensation for the delay, it shall have moar bad porn in it. (Just like Torchwood.)
