So, in my last post I made the following gag:
back in the day, Moody played bass and sang in a grindcore death metal band called Cruciatus. Their biggest-selling and best-known song was "Constant Vigilance", which reached number 19 in the UK chart in 1985 and was massively popular amongst metal fans for years afterwards - considered a classic, really...
evil_underlord then manages to - er - track down an old and rare demo recording* of the song "Constant Vigilance" and has put up an mp3 of it, along with original cover art, over in
this post, so that everyone can enjoy it.
The song is truly a grindcore classic, by which I mean unlistenable and with totally indecipherable lyrics. GO AND HEAR IT NAO PLS.
That is all.
Oh, actually, no, there is one more thing - I realised today, in a fit of blind and absolute panic, that I have an exam in just over two weeks and it's not so much a case of revising as learning the course material from scratch, so Uberwank posts may be coming a little slower for the next couple of weeks.
* By which I mean, wrote and recorded one, which is actually way cooler and makes me want to sort of cry or maybe just squee a bit
