[Welcome to the City, newcomers and old attendees alike! It's not too bad a day outside: nice weather, an atmosphere filled with tearful reunions and loud rejoicing - what a perfect day to go wandering about. But be careful, friends, and keep a watchful eye on the sky. As per usual, the Weasley twins are up to no good. ( Read more... )

[ Well, exploring had been fairly interesting until Minerva acquired a face full of blue paint. It's not exactly a comfortable situation, you'll understand, when she draws her wand out to remove the paint. ]

Hello, Misters Weasley.

[ What, should she be elated to see you after this display of indecent defaming? ]

Is this how you represent the Wizarding Community in this City? I can't exactly say I approve.

Alright, Professor! We're just doing our best to restore some colour to this place.

[Man, how is it this woman can still scare him even after he's dead?

Smiles all over, Professor.]

It's a bit of humanitarian work, Professor! We're doing our part. For the community, see?

[ It's her job, Fred. Also she's Scottish. ]

I'm sure you're not making a word of sense, either of you. The color looks just fine to me.

[ Aka: Try Again, Boys. ]

Of course it looks fine, now. But who knows when it may get cross-eyed again?

By shooting around balls of paint when everything's in color as it is? Oh yes. Your genius is very much going to use here.

Knew you'd understand.

[Because McGonagall's always understood their ploys, right? :D]

[Lily is attempting to avoid the paint, sneaking about carefully with wand in one hand when she finally sees a familiar face, even if she does appear a bit older than she's accustomed to.]

Professor McGonagall. [And that is a smile. It's nice to see her, even if she did see her a few days ago at an Order of the Phoenix meeting.]

[ Professor McGonagall prides herself on her general unshakable nerve, ability to deal with the unexpected and command over the students in her care. Even she can't blame herself for faltering at the sight of Lily Potter: alive, breathing and looking very well. ]

[Minerva's reaction to Lily is only one in a long line of confirmations that back home, Voldemort does kill her. She gives Minerva a gentle smile.]

It's okay.

[That simple reassurance is both forgiveness for the faltering and some sort of security for Minerva that really, Lily is alright with what happened, with what she did.]
