[The faces of the passerby's to the device's lens seem to be reflecting a range from distinct lack of interest to mild amusement to extreme confusion. They also appear to be shielding their heads from something, but from the device's position, it isn't quite clear whatThat is, until the throng clears enough for the device ( Read more... )

[ She was rushing toward the fountain in panic, but arrives only as the monster is collapsing and Fred is very obviously in no danger at all. Her face, which once held worry, is now red with anger. ]

You there! Whatever that was it was not. Funny! Someone might've gotten themselves in trouble thinking you were seriously hurt!

[At first, he's a bit thrown. Red-headed woman shouting at him; has his mother followed him to the afterlife simply to shout at him for a simple prank? But no, she is quite unfamiliar and he raises his brow a bit apprehensively.]

Easy there, m'lady. Gorgeous face as yours'll be ruined with all that fretting. No blood, no foul, aye?

[ Oh, he won't get anywhere on flattery, no sir. Donna Noble's got more integrity in her pinky finger than to let some mischievous young prankster get the better of her. ]

Don't give me that pretty face nonsense! You had me all worked up...!

[ No, really. She's much too smart for his charm tricks. ]

You're all right, then? Really? Cause there are things here: not so friendly things. You've got to be careful.

[ Ah well. She meant to be hard on him, anyway. ]

[Well worth the effort though, innit? All worked up over lil ol' Fred? There is certainly a sly smile of sorts at that. He's got his ways.]

Not to worry. All's swell.

[...Well, technically not. He is dead, but as far as City-time goes, he's without harm.]

I've had my share of dealings with the not-so-friendly. Reckon the only thing I've to be careful of is unnecessarily troubling the dames of this fine establishment.

[ His share of the not-so-friendly? He's too young for that, she can't ever. ]

You go on and turn it off, now.

[ She nods once, finally acknowledging that she's over her little tantrum and onto saying hello all proper like. ]

I'm Donna. And...you're sopping, so excuse me withholding a handshake.

Ah, how rude of me. Here, just a mo'.

[Handy dandy magic, go! He takes a short minute to dry himself off via steam from the tip of his wand, and then tucks it back in his pants and offers his hand with a grin.]

Fred Weasley.

[ She takes it, though with some hesitation. ]

Nice to meet you, Fred. And if you ever go scaring me to death like that again you'd better be sure I don't get hold of you. I mean it.

[ Donna is so super stern, she's only barely smirking a little as she warns him. ]

I couldn't dream of it.

[He winks a little because, let's be honest. Causing people grief is just half his day's fun.]

[ She rolls her eyes, not intolerant, and nods. ]

Good. Next time I'll do more than shouting. Now, as lovely as it's been thinking I was witnessing some horrific death, I was still on my way for a coffee and exploring. If you don't mind, I think I'll need that coffee more than ever, now.

You're welcome to join, unless you have other people to frighten today.

Much as it breaks my heart to have to decline, I actually have got someone else to frighten. My little sister'll be here to collect me any moment, now, and I've got to quite thoroughly traumatize her.

[No, not really. His arrival alone is more than enough to do the traumatizing, and if his smile's anything to go by, it seems he'll have his share of trauma as well. Nothing like family bonding, eh?]
