(no subject)
Went to Wendy's today, on a whim, for the first time in like 10 years. Turns out Wendy's is the fat person fast food place now. Got a spicy chicken combo (not nearly as good as I remembered) and the girl from the back bring out my burger & fries, I think "Whoa... that's a whole lotta fries. That's like a large at McDonalds or Harveys" but the girl running the cash says "What are you doing, pay attention, it's a Medium Fries." at which point I assume that that's the reason it looked so big. Turns out the mistake she'd made was she gave me a small... Ten I got my "medium" root beer (about a liter of liquid) and went and ate half of it and left. :P
Also bought an ironing board today. When I moved into my apartment my mom & dad bought me an Iron, but not an ironing board. It's been used once, by Laura, on my foot stool to iron one of her work shirts for work after crashing at my place after drinkage. But I actually have to use it this week (here's hoping I remember how and don't destroy my clothes, it's been... probably 14 years since I've had to Iron anything) since this is the big Job Fair blitz at work.
So yeah, still nothing solid on job future. As I said before, Rogers isn't interested, and I still haven't heard back from Protus, but I know two other people who've started there in the interim, which leads me to believe they don't want me, but just can't be arsed to write me a "go die in a fire" letter.

It's a n interview with John Cleese primarily about the '08 US Election. My favorite part is the interviewer. Just watch him. He's laughing, but the whole time he's got this horrendous "Oh my god... am I going to be allowed to actually put this on Television anywhere without getting lynched?!?" look on his face. :)
