Tonight's Squee is Brought to You by the Letters S, P & N

Still miss the fanvids, but the quickcut extravaganza of aliases was brilliant :)

I like when they vary the show's structure: no MOTW teaser (I tend to ff through those, anyway), intercut scenes leading to separate Sam and Dean reveals, flashbacks. The outsider POV felt a little weird at first, but ultimately, I think it made the boys look that much cooler.

From the file marked Obvious: The camera freaking LOVES Jensen Ackles, and I've long believed that the DP does, too. SPN is generous with the close-ups, but Jensen gets more of them, and they're closer, longer, and artier than Jared's. The over-the-shoulder shot as he turns his head and the camera swings around has become a show staple. Nice.

SO MUCH LOVE AND ADORATION FOR HOW SAM & DEAN ARE STILL SAM & DEAN EVEN WHEN THEY'RE APART.

Love the matching stories, contingency plans, and mutual anagramming along side the perfect brotherly details that have nothing to do with the case ("I'm not Scully; you're Scully." "Dude, seriously." Matlock.)

Many scenes of separateness and sitting = Light week for the boys. Good for them. Hope they got some rest. Light week for the Impala, too. However, THAT IS NOT OKAY :|

Anyone else hear [hard G] "Giles" and think of the Buffybot?

Jessica's getting namedropped almost as often as Lilly Kane. I'm thinking a pair of dead girlfriends are going to show up during sweeps.

I used to have a problem believing Dean's bull-in-the-China-shop interview style, but it is a nice contrast to puppy-dog-sincere Sam, and if I read it as excited impatience, I guess it fits :)

Sam really is the better liar, which is so awesome. Love how "She gave us the key!" echoed Dean's "How else would I have the keys?" in Children blah blah Dead Things.

Dean using the truth as a tactic caught me by surprise. I wonder if that videotape will turn up someday.

DEAN SLAMMED UP AGAINST WALLS IS NEVER NOT HOT. Although, it's better when Sam's the one doing the slamming.

I know that Dean is cocky. And fearless. But his complete lack of concern at getting arrested for murder is almost as worrisome as the erratic behavior.

I have never seen The Shining. Or The Exorcist. I don't think Ms. Blair is very good actor, and yet I still liked her. Nice hair, too. And heh, second time a lady cop cut them loose, but wouldn't give them a ride.

I have seen The Great Escape. Which, by the way, also co-starred James "Jim Rockford" Garner.

Pea soup? Oh, Kripke :| But --

DEAN. CUFFS. WALL. KNEES. WALL! KNEES! CUFFS! DEAN!!!!
