Great news. It looks like the chocobo eggs have hatched. It'll be a couple days before we let anyone see them, but when we do, we'll have a big festival for everyone to attend

Don't be silly, Cloud. Of course I'm not too busy. I've been wanting to see them for sometime now and I'll help anyway I can with setting up the festival if you need help.

How about food? If you're going to have a festival you'll need food of course. I can lend some catering services.

Exactly. They're large birds that you can actually ride. They can't fly though.

Wow, really? I'd like to see one! If... you need any extra help for the festival, I'd love to volunteer.

Yeah, you're welcome to come and see one. We're in Radiant Garden. We could always use more volunteers; the more the merrier.

Of course I want that job! I've been watching out for the eggs all this time and that was the boring part!

Did you name them yet? Can I name them if you didn't? What are they like? Do they bite?

This is so cool! I can't wait to see them! I'll help with other stuff to but I wanna be one of the official babysitter!

No I haven't. I'm not good with names. You can name them; you'll see what they're like when you get here.

I thought you would. Go ahead and come into the stables when you come to work tomorrow. I'll show you how to handle the babies-- and the mother. She's really protective.

Chocobo eggs? What is a chocobo?

A chocobo is a very large bird that you can ride. They come in all sorts of colors and they're usually very friendly.

This is one of our chocobos at the races.

Ah. I was hoping by the way you were talking of eggs and ceremonies that you were speaking of dragons. But chocobos seem fun! We have something that looks similar in my world. My nephew stole one once.

No, but I'm sure there are dragons on one of these worlds.

They're pretty fun. Kids love them and chocobo racing is really competitive.
