Uhm, Update?
So lately I've just been very tired. I've spent most of my time working and helping a friend out with some issues she's having. I also can't seem to get rid of this freaking cold. I'm only having minor sinus issues and such but it's like they won't go away. It was bad at first but then calmed down and at some point just decided that it didn't need to go away completely.:P I'm all right though. A little sick, a little tired but meh who isn't?
Yesterday I ended up at a baby shower to which I'm almost certain I wasn't invited. I was happy to go and the mother to be is an old friend so she was glad that I came and fine with my being there. These things are generally girl only type of events and most guys wouldn't want to be there anyway. In any event the person invited to the shower was given like a days notice and had asked me to go with her because she didn't want to go by herself. The next morning we left early so that we could run to Fort Myers and grab gifts for the baby and for her. We did and we made it to the shower just in time. It was as one might suspect, lots of mothers and grandmothers playing silly girly maternity games and things like that. At the end was the part where she unwrapped all the gifts. We were the only ones who got anything for her. The baby got a ton of crap but we got her some stuff. Anyway, the only complaint I have about the event was that I was not thanked once by name. In fact my existence was acknowledged by her maybe three times the whole evening. She used the term "guys" all three times implying that she was addressing both of us.
In other news my father really needs to fucking die.
