Bunny is off to New York. I'm leaving tomorrow (well, technically today) to take part in this year's UN model. I need to grab the train for London in the wee hours and, of course, I still haven't packed my bags (leopard, spots, etc.).
Right now, I have a very hard time not guffawing because I'm constantly reminded of that stupid Hana Yori Dango pun: the one that had Doumyouji talking about "Nyuu Yoku" only to have Makino ask him whether he wanted to take a bath. Heh, good times.
Strangely enough, last time I was in the city, I brought the HYD tankoubons where Makino goes off to NY in pursuit of her boyfriend.
I'll probably make a detour by Cardiff on the way back to the homeland. Yeah, this has me much more elated than the idea of traipsing around Washington Square while dressed like a doleful accountant. The other members of my working group have adopted 'mad glee' as their middle name, though. To each his own, I guess.
So, yeah, I'll probably grab a few hours of sleep in the plane. There's a high possibility that my first move upon reaching the city that doesn't sleep will be to hit the hay. So much for truth in advertising.
...Aaand now I feel like watching a few episodes of Mad Men... No, no, no, no, no, I need to pack. Packing, dammit!
