unbelievable

I heard about an anesthesia student at Barry University (in Miami) who was expelled a few days ago...6 weeks before their graduation.

That...that is wrong. The full debt load of an anesthesia student and no way to pay it back. Maybe he did something really reprehensible, but that speaks poorly of the school almost any way you look at it. So he was incompetent...and it took them 3 years to figure that out? They just had to take his money for 3 years until they established that they couldn't graduate him? And if he wasn't irredeemably incompetent, he never should have been expelled 6 weeks from graduation.

Anesthesia programs are cash cows for universities. They don't actually take much money to run, and the students are charged the highest tier of tuition. I figured that out a while back. But to string someone along, get all their loan money, and then kick them out right before graduation...what greedy jerks. I looked at Barry. I'm glad I didn't go. As stressful and expensive as my program is, I'm sure they won't do that.
