FOR THOSE WHO SAY THEY 'HATE' KIRITO (as a person) JUST BECAUSE OF HIS SOLO CAREER this rant is so getting it's own postwe start off with rhetorical questions
( Read more... )
I get that feeling too XD; I mean, he's still hip-thrusting during that live XD; isn't that meant as fanservice for the girls? (I doubt if he's even 50% straight XD; he's probably bi though, which makes possible sense...?)
exactly my point. I just felt so SAD when I wrote this post because of the way people keep flaming him and discouraging potential fans from listening to his music TAT
fans? hmph. they turn on the poor guys just because they try new genres every once in a while. I mean, what's a band without variety? if every song sounds the same, then what's the use for song titles? geez. meh, I don't feel like dealing with those people, as long as they don't start influencing other fans, I'm happy.
...strategist? that sounds like Kirito. but PIERROT has been his life for 10 years. does that mean he's been stepping on this proverbial stone for 10 years just because...? there's no telling if he has compassion for any 'humans', but at least in that newly translated interview at PIERROT FNT he (if not just pretending) says he cares deeply about his family and his brother. his band is what we've been used to for as long as we've loved him. so maybe it takes a while for people to adjust. it doesn't mean he's thrown them away though, I mean, if someone's moved onto their dream, why keep the stepping stone around? it's hard not to love someone as...Kirito...as he is XD;
it's like people think Kirito can only have ONE dream. if his solo-career's a dream, that doesn't mean PIERROT wasn't! Kirito said it himself during a concert (proven if you read Ritz-san's concert reviews), 'you may all love PIERROT, but keep in mind that I (Kirito) love PIERROT the most" even if that was dictator Kirito speaking, I don't think he would lie about loving the thing he's been nurturing for 10 years.
wow, I just noticed these are some of the longest comments I've ever written/recieved.
XD Yeah, you're right! He shouldn't be doing that during a show where there's obviously no female fans...>> he shouldn't have been running around with those overalls taken down either...*drool* omg, they were slung so low, it makes me wonder if he was even wearing underwear? *cough* >.< ; thinkunsexythoughtsthinkunsexythoughts ...anyway ^^; since Christianity isn't a big religious staple in their society like it is here in America, I guess having an alternate sexuality wouldn't be as taboo in Japan?...so it's likely. (this is of course, just speculation...because I know at least at one time way in the past, love between men was regarded as the "purest form of love" and buddhist monks practiced it even.) But hey, let's just assume he's bi so I think I have a chance in hell. >>... XD!
Sometimes I felt like the only person sticking up for him some places and it's like if you don't like it, then just don't listen to it. >>; You don't have to tell potential listeners that might actually enjoy it so they end up passing it over. I've missed out on plenty good movies in the theatre that I actually ended up liking later because people told me not to bother.
Didn't he mention that it was sort of his way of getting away and venting a little? I can understand how the pressures to sell would get to be frustrating. Plus, when I hear his solo work, it's more like ballad rock similar to Finale ya know? So if it obviously wasn't him making Pierrot music progressively louder and thrashier, who was it pushing for that? It makes me think maybe he still wanted to do more ballad rock but was told it wouldn't sell, etc etc. (because if you listen to a lot of jrock, it seems "in" to be harder, like if you look at how much harder Dir en Grey has gotten over their career span, even though they weren't mellow to begin with.) Unfortunately a band can only have so much freedom of creativity while trying to sell for the sake of staying on a record label. I mean, maybe the record label was like "yeah, Kirito, that's not going to sell kkthx, do something more like this mkayyy?" ...and I know if he can't do something he wants to do, he'll find some other way of doing it. He was also saying he was getting tired of people only liking him for his stage-self (and I remember reading an interview from either the HQ or Cee and Jay's site where he claims "Kirito" is very different from what he's really like) and wanted to be more himself for a change. I can understand how that would feel...I think one might be a little insecure if that carried over into one's personal life and people expected them to be this thing that they were not.
God, he obviously didn't drop Pierrot for this solo thing so people need to shut up. He had something he wanted to do and the others could do what they wanted if they wanted. Kohta and Takeo both did take part in other projects while I think Aiji and Jun opted to relax.
Let's see, it's like a pair of shoes. I've had one pair of comfortable shoes for over a year now that I love to death and refuse to get rid of. They've been with me through thick and thin, mud puddles and hot, sunny days never giving out on me. Now recently, I got a new pair that I liked as well and while I really like this new pair of shoes, I'm not going to throw out the old pair just because of it. I'm going to keep both pairs and wear them both because my old pair feels right and I know they still have plenty good miles left in them...and what if my new pair wears out before the old ones or I don't like them anymore? I'll still have the tried and true pair as well and won't be shoeless. (I can't believe I just compared Pierrot to shoes! XD; ...but it kinda works with what I want to say and can't word in any other way but analogy right now. *retard*)
You know how I ultimately feel about the solo project? I think it was a good idea for him to try something new and get things out...I also think it's good that he went a little more mainstreem because it could also bring in more potential Pierrot fans; people that wouldn't have normally heard of them to begin with since pop and pop-rock are the majority of what gets heard.
hey! I spam you with excessively lengthy comments sometimes...*heartbroken* XP
kekeke, I don't think the guys minded at all XDDDD; but he may be hot, since you see a lot of sweat (oh no I'm swooning >>) KIRITO doesn't need underwear D: neogurotesuku posted about that one picture from the KiritoxAiji HEAVEN photoshoot where he's holding the guns by his side and his crotch seems half-exposed since he's wearing such low pants XDDDD;
Japan probably promotes homosexuality XD; I mean, look at the manga! there's nudity, yaoi, yuri, and about every other thing the USA is itching to censor -.- we all want a chance with him XDDDD;
peer pressure is EBIL D: that's why I have to try things out for myself. always. it's not that I don't trust my friends, it's just that my tastes are much too different from them ^^U
that's true. from what he's said in interviews, his 'true' self is much more calm, reserved, and even overly-rule-abiding. I have to say that I really do much prefer the harder stuff in rock. but that doesn't mean I don't listen to my fair share of rock-ballads. Kirito seems the type to get what he wants without getting in much trouble XD; in the end, everything really does depend on if the artist has enough fans to overpower some decisions of their label. it really is sad that people don't appreciate Shinya as much as his 'KIRITO-act'. it must be tough when people love you for who you act like instead of who you are (though there's no telling if solo-Kirito is Shinya).
my point exactly. PIERROT is healthy and coming back strong as ever right now. if people don't see them on the covers of recent issues of FM and UV then they must either not have an internet connection or are blind.
good metaphor...? XD; but I get the point ^^v
advertising his band while doing what he wants. such genius? XD; but I'm just worried that the pop label will be more restrictive than the rock labels since, as you know, pop depends more on image than on sound most of the time >>
I meant people's comments in general XD your lengthy comments are very appreciated and aren't forgotten ♥
Yeah, I'm sure it was hot in that small cramped up room...with all those men..hot and..grinding up against eachother in excitement..*dies giggling* I never knew so many people could fit into such a small space! I bet he looks forward to those men's only concerts like a hyper schoolboy. "Oh my god look at all those MEN! And they're here for ME! *bounce*...I mean, *cough* because screaming fangirls are annoying and they shouldn't have to deal with them. Yeah...e.e;" XD; I'm not mean or anything, I swear! >>; It's not my fault he's so fun and teasable. I remember that photoshoot btw...god those pants were low...any lower and they would've had to censor it out! 8F~ Hurhurhurr Kirito, you do not need that gun to compansate for anything. >x> *shuts up*
You can see he's generally kinda, I dunno, demure? in a some cases? Like I remember this talk show thing where he and Aiji came on to talk about and promote Cocoon...and he seemed so shy and cute. *gushes* Dammit ♥♥♥...but yeah. That and I've seen a lot of off-stage pictures where he's sitting or standing around using little space. Like with his arms folded and huddled to himself, not stretching outside of his personal bubble, kinda closing himself off. I definitely think body-language is a good insite on how a person is.
Uh, I'm glad you got what I was trying to say. ^^; Otherwise it's just a lot of nonsense about shoes. >>; I can't wait for the new single. I wonder what Pierrot will come up with this time? Ohhh and the next album, AHHHHHH! *flails* XD I am on a Pierrot/Kirito high because of all this talk over the past 24 hours...nnnnn..*glows*
Well, if you notice, at least in the July FM I think, he talked about Pierrot a lot so people looking into those might have to wonder about this band that he's normally part of. Then in later magazines they'd put him and Pierrot in the same magazine...thus exposing fans to both musical groups. It may or may not have been part of the plan but it seems like a good strategy, doesn't it?
*gigglefit* Kirito, a schoolgirlboy? XDDDDD; that quote sounds just like something he'd think =v= and he had that 'look' on his face in that photo too *spews forth foam* >>
kekeke, he talks too much though. Aiji hardly had a chance to make conversation XDDD; and just LOOK at the London backstage clips *____* god, dorktator at his finest (or worst?) XD; the personal bubble thing makes me squee. seriously. how can someone be so smexy and ADORABLE at the same time? D:
we're all practised souls at hidden meanings by now, having Kirito as our idol and all XDDD; I'm trying to convert as many people as possible over the next few weeks so when their new single comes out, there'll be more people to worship appreciate it X3
it probably costs less for the magazine company to bring in PIERROT for a shoot and have a short interview with Kirito while they're at it XD; strategy is key. that sounds like a quote. I hope I'm not plagerizing >>
of course~ I appreciate every living soul who takes time to debate/discuss Kirito with me (knowing I'm an obsessed freak and all) ♥
