- Cold - Wasted Years: I feel like so much of my life has been wasted. I graduated from high school ten years ago this past May, and I feel like I have accomplished nothing, NOTHING, not a thing, since then. Four failed relationships, a failed college career, a non-existent professional career, and nothing left of me to try to pick up any of the pieces.
- Godsmack - The Spiral Journey: On this journey, I find myself walking in the woods. I come to a clearing and the rain beats down upon my face as I look up to the heavens. Steam floats up from my wings as the rain boils on contact with them. Thunder rolls in the distance. I stretch my arms out to my sides and the flesh burns away revealing the phoenix within and I fly off into the night. "I wait to burn* away; live again; here forever, the spiral never ends..."

- Cold feat. Aaron Lewis - Bleed: Ok, so now the truth about this song. There was a day this week that I spent a brief moment contemplating cutting (in the song, music is his knife). Those of you who know me, I'm sure, realize the abomination that this even suggests, but nonetheless the thoughts have been there. Bleed, let the pain out. For those of you not in the know, I have a significant issue with the opening of my flesh, be it a needle, an artist's gun, or a blade. Now, while the thoughts have been there, this issue has been an overriding force.
- Drowning Pool - Step Up: The classic "fuck with me and I'll rock your little world, asshole" song. :)
- Ra - Tell Me: A man seeks direction. Tell me what it is I'm meant to do...
- Lacuna Coil - Heaven's A Lie: No particular meaning to me, but you may have heard it in the season premier trailer for Criminal Minds on CBS last week.
- Celldweller - Switchback: There is no "undo" button in real life.
- Dennis Leary - Asshole: Something that actually makes me smile, cuz we've got the bombs... Two words: nuclear fucking weapons. Reminds me of the good days of my college life, with sleepingwolf, thesammy, shagbert, and everybody else who doesn't have an LJ (damn them!!). I'm an asshole, and I'm proud of it.
