I think I've come to the conclusion that going to the ball will be a bad idea. Given the abundance of alcohol, the effect alcohol has on my ability to keep my trap shut, and the ponderings bouncing around in my head, I have a genuine fear that going to the ball could have some highly volatile results (or I'll spend the whole thing brooding in the corner).
I don't really want to go into it.

Attempts to convince me otherwise are welcome.

Ok, so I just decided that each week I'm going to come up with my own Top Ten list, of the top ten songs I've been listening to, and maybe a little bit about what they mean. So without any further gilding the lily, and no more adieu...

- Seether - Broken: Reminds me of [Her], my cause to protect her, and my desire to be with her.
- Hinder - Lips of an Angel: Reminds me of Ms. I'm-not-cute and the relationship we've had.
- Staind - Everything Changes: Reminds me of how defeated I feel, especially in the arena of relationships
- Nickleback - Far Away: Delves deeper into my relationship with Ms. I'm-not-cute.
- Staind - Epiphany: The first song to really remind me of [Her] and what I couldn't tell her.
- Cold - End of the World: I just watched Resident Evil: Apocalypse, it's on the soundtrack. No other major significance.
- Cold feat. Aaron Lewis - Bleed: Scooter must be a Scorpio, his writing is dark and broody, I just eat it up. UPDATE: Scooter Ward is actually a Capricorn.
- Nickleback - Savin' Me: Story of my life, alternates with Cold's Wasted Years
- Cold - A Different Kind Of Pain: If I could cry, I would everytime this song played. As I described before, words to [Her]. Expect this, Broken, and Lips to show up here a lot, at least till I crawl out of this downward spiral.
- Nightwish - Nemo: One of the Fallen, looking for her saviour, her wings, her name, and to come at last into the light. The "true name" twist has a certain Hellboy quality to it.
*Now*
There was something else I wanted to add to this, I'd thought of it this morning, but now I'm drawing a blank. Ah well, more next week.
