So, I listed my old car, Lola on Craigslist just over 24 hours ago and she sold less than 24 hours later. I had an email within a couple of hours of posting the ad, they came to look at it last night and came back with money this afternoon. Lola is gone. She was a good car, but her time with me was over. She is in good hands now and will be loved by new people.
I sold her for $1000, took the money and paid off the $600 vet bill from when Naranja almost died back in November. Now I have an additional $400 to make my next months car payment. I'm glad Wills car died, otherwise I would not of had the motivation to get rid of Lola. Thanks for your sacrifice, Will! I amaze myself when I set my mind to something. I told myself yesterday afternoon "I need to sell Lola, and I need to sell her today" and that I did.
Now I just need to put an ad up for my old computer, that should be maybe another $500 or so to put towards Macauly (my new computer)....I figure Macs deserve names, so I named mine Macauly. Yep.
Potluck tonight. I'm making my "creations". Work at 7am tomorrow and then the highly anticipated Elliott Smith photo exhibit tomorrow evening. Thank you, Noisepop for these wonderful events! There is a happy hour at the Diesel store in SF that I want to check out, apparently last year they had free Heinekin. I'm all for that. Oh and Lost is on tomorrow too!
This has been an eventful, exciting week.
Oh I also got a haircut and got some crazy insane highlights in my hair. The hair is shorter than I wanted it, expecially in the back, and the highights look a little funky, but i think it will take some getting used to and then I'll be fine.
The end...
P.S. I have the icon I used because I had foil in my hair when I was getting my highlights done-not because I feel anyone reading this is being stupid. Haha.
