{but it don't show up in the Pavement Cracks}

You know what I love?
I really and truly love the Rainbow Centre.
I really do.

This space reveals itself to everyone who uses it, and it becomes something different for each person.
It's my second home, away from my second home.

I also really, truly love Maeve. We had an impromtu Booble Tea date at Sweet Dreams and everytime I talk with her I hold nothing back. She's magical, that one. It was nice to have a moment in this Me weekend that could still be intimately shared. Thanks.

I wanted originally to go to Guelph for the weekend but I was literally crippled in myself, [swallow the key] and all.

I was a little dissappointed last night after Sweet Dreams cuz the plan was to go solo to see Pan's Labyrinth, this supposedly phenomenal movie that Douche wants to see avec moi, but she was in Guelph this weekend and I thought I'd go see. However, I got there right at showtime and t'was sold out. :( Alas, I walked through the piercing cold and snow dunes back to campus and camped out in the Rainbow Centre as I usually do. I figured that because I couldn't see Pan's..., I could still have a solo movie night, and I struck gold. Yesterday I splurged at HMV and got two CDs (the new Shins and Decemberists) and two DVDs (Little Miss Sunshine and She's The Man), and I was more than in the mood for Little Miss Sunshine. Wow, do I love that movie. I was cackling with laughter and tearing at the sentiment in it whilst being in the dark RC, covered in blankets and being situated in a place on this campus I will forever feel myself, feel safe, feel amplified. I have a place here, and it feels phenomenal. I also hid food here (mainly oatmeal) so that I could snack at times, and I'm enjoying a nice bowl right now :) I lub oatmeal in the winter.

As you can tell I'm doing another one of my Weekend-Stints in the centre. Doing my homework, reading for a midterm tomorrow, working on the Support Loveness and pamphlets we're publishing, it's just... amazing, to be here.There's magic in the air everytime I'm in here, especially when it's just me in here. The RC transforms itself into something transcendental. I was interviewed on Friday by one of my First-Years from O-week, who has a blog on the wlu.ca website and wants to promote the Rainbow Centre to Prospective Students, and I'm excited to see the final product. I can't wait to hear and see first years coming to the centre next year, saying their choice to come here was the RC, what it stands for, and where it's going. And believe me, we're going places.

I'm going back to work. I need more distractions.

EDIT 3:43PM... I found it. It's PERFECT. http://www.explosm.net/comics/793/
