So, it appears that ducks, at least, have regional
accents. Just like human beings.
It makes sense - quacking is a form of communication, and all animals do it. However, I find that deep down I still have that belief that humans are fundamentally different from animals. It's been a scientific journey over my lifetime to realize that humans really aren't different than other animals at all - it's just that some of what we do is just a bit more advanced. We really aren't that unique. We just think we are because we're (naturally) biased.
It's that reason that I think that it wouldn't be bad to be reincarnated as a different species - the society you lived in then would be quite different, but just as interesting, as the one(s) we live in as humans.
