So, with my sister
Ika in town, a bunch of us went to go see
Asian for Dummies by the OPM Comedy Group. I've seen a couple of their shows before, and this one by far was the best one I've seen yet. If you go, make sure to expect totally non-PC, Asian-oriented humor. We also got a special treat tonight as the show was opened by a stand-up comic named
Amy Anderson. She's highly humorous - check her out if you get a chance.
The show itself is playing through the next few weekends down at The Flight Theatre on Santa Monica in Hollywood. I highly recommend checking it out if you live in the LA area. If it smells slightly like stale beer, it's because I accidentally spilled my Heineken there tonight...
I also recommend checking out the nearby
Patagonia Grill on Vine St. It's a little hole in the wall in a strip mall that serves some of the best Argentinian food I've had. And the price is totally right. I'll never go back to the Gaucho Grill again.
