"Social" outing...
With so many weddings coming up, Elizabeth and Carter invited us to join them in the American Social Dancing at the PCC Extended Learning Center. For the next 7 weeks, we'll be learning how not to step on each others' feet while on the dance floor.
Tonight was our first night, in which we tried to learn the cha cha. I think we did pretty decently, although we haven't quite gotten the hang of all the spins and turns. But that's what practice is for, right?
Next week is swing, which is likely to be quite useful for Erich and Becky's upcoming wedding ("upcoming" means a little over a year from now). Not that there's any way we're going to look cool or anything, but hopefully we'll be able to hold our own.
Even if we don't learn much, it's still a really fun way to hang out with Liz and Carter in a setting that is different from the usual ones.
