So, Battlestar Galactica series finale. You now what, I just threw my hands in the air and said fuck it and went with the flow. It wasn't perfect but frankly I'm not sure what finale would've been. And yeah maybe it was sort of preachy toward the end, but it was still amazing for all of its flaws, I thought it was a great ending to the show.
It's interesting because I posted elsewhere if the mystery as to what my favorite character was turned out to be something really mystical I'd hate it. And that's exactly what happened with her, infact they really didn't explain what she was but it was definitely mystical and I kind of loved it. And I bawled like a baby at the final scenes between the show's best couple. I love to ship but this is one show I never got into the couples very much, I was just all whatever toward them except Bill/Laura. They had one of the most organic relationships I've ever seen on tv, they were perfect and proved you can be sixty and still hitting it. And Gaius Baltar, damn what a character. I never thought I'd say this but I think at the end he became my second favorite character after Kara, he definitely had one of the best overall arcs.
Anyway, the reaction to the finale was pretty mixed and I get that so I won't say fuck the haters. But I loved it and as always with me, even if I hate the ending I always love the journey but in this case I loved both.
