(no subject)
So I saw Watchmen last week, at the midnight premiere. My brother and I got there 45 minutes before it started and our theater was almost full. There was a second theater room though, his friends wound up in that one since they got there too late, I don't know how full that one got. Anyway, first off I love the comic, read it a couple of years ago so I recommend it big time. Secondly, the movie had its flaws and on one level I think it in trying to be faithful to the comic it missed conveying some of its messages BUT I still effing loved it. It was a lot of fun, though I'm looking forward to the director's cut DVD bit time since I know Znyder cut alot. He also I think did not abuse the slow-mo like he did in 300.
