This week's 
fannish5 is "5 favourite/least favourite royal characters". I went with favourite, which seemed easier. I like participating in these, but the topics haven't been easy for me so far. I'm a bit tempted to cheat and fill four slots with Pevensies, just because I can :-P
1. Queen Titania, The Voyage of the Basset, by James C. Christensen. I don't know why, but she was the first character to come to mind. She's not a main character, but vital to the girls' storyline.
2. Stephen Black, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, by Susanna Clarke. I rather like that he became a king in the end :-)
3. King Arthur. Various legends, shows, books; just in general, really. I was fascinated by the Arthurian legends as a kid.
4. King John, King John of Canada, by Scott Gardiner. Hell, maybe I just really like this book. Whatever.
5. Rapunzel, Tangled. I'm a bit infatuated with the film at the moment :-D And she was kind of kick-ass.
