i think it's probably the dumbest thing i've ever seen that there are so many books, tv specials, etc., trying to discredit or support the situations proposed in The Da Vinci Code.
it was well written, controversial, and thus a good book. that's why it was so popular.
but it is a work of FICTION. as in not real. made up. certain aspects are obviously drawn from historical research, but obviously the truth is stretched in areas to fit into the book. amazing how u can make up things in a book that screams 'not true' by its mere genre.
not to mention it's not the first time such theories have been brought forth anyways.
the fact that any christian is offended by it just shows lack of faith and fear of anything but what they hold to be true.
sigh.
