The Nostalgia Chick Makes a "Spike" Mention! :D
I am a huge fan of both the Nostalgia Critic and Nostalgia Chick, and yay for Nostalgia Chick's new review for The Man in the Iron Mask. "In a way this movie is the perfect teenage girl vehicle... if you can look past all these respected-ish old actors getting in the way of the pretty blonde boy... So you've got these two perfect fangirl archetypes, and they are both played by the same dude. The first is what I like to call the "Spike" or "Draco Malfoy"... or some variation of "cute blonde bastard", an arrogant little prick with just a hint of the possibility of redemption." Bwuhahahaha! XD In case you are wondering, the second archetype is the woobie... which also fits Spike and Draco very well in that regard too. God, I love TMITIM because it is just so wrong historically, but OH PRETTY TALENTED ACTORS NOT BEING TALENTED! Nostalgia Chick sums it up in one line, "... Oh, hey, look, Hugh Laurie..." XD
