"I was suprised to hear how good you guys were."-My DAD.
Hmm... wait a second. My dad is one of the most critical people I know. And when it comes to music, of all things, I would rather be judged by that idiot british guy from American Idol.
I don't know if you guys realize how big of a compliment this is. He would have flat out told me that our band sucked, if we did. This is AWESOME.
Oh yeah, if you think that my dad has zero creditability, fuck you. My dad was a semi-famous musician for nearly 30 years, played in over a dozen bands, made records, began getting payed to play in travelling bands at the age of 15, and won a full scholarship to Berklee. He has also won at least 3 Battle of the Bands during high-school (that I know about at least).
So what does this mean? It means that we might actually have a shot at this thing. If we don't win, at least we will be able to get our name out there.
